PROTECTING WATER
We operate our own wastewater treatment plant, where we use biological purification and final disinfection processes to reduce the pollutant load of treated water to levels well below the maximum permitted limits.
At ILE we believe growing means doing it together with our people and in harmony with the planet. That's why every product has a purpose: creating value in our communities, driving fair trade and the circular economy, and promoting sustainable practices that protect our resources.
Because true flavor is also built with the future in mind.
Our flavor is born from respect for the land.
We don't just create flavors that reach thousands of homes. We also cultivate commitment, sustainability, and love for the planet. We believe in our people, in the hands of our farmers, and in the natural richness of every corner of the country; that's why we promote sustainable practices to protect the environment and offer quality products to our consumers.

We work hand in hand with our farmers, promoting fair trade relationships, stable prices, and training to strengthen their knowledge, improve their opportunities, and grow together.

We promote initiatives that create opportunities and contribute to the development and well-being of the communities throughout our value chain.

We apply circular economy principles to make better use of resources, reduce waste, and promote a culture of recycling within our company.

We work to protect more than 420 hectares of Ecuadorian forest.

Our story
Since 1972, ILE was born in Loja with one purpose: to bring quality products that preserve the authentic flavor of our cuisine into people's homes. What began with Sabora became a story of innovation and growth that today allows us to bring our flavor to more than 5 countries.
Over 700 products, organic plantations in Ecuador's Highlands, Coast, and Amazon region, and certifications that back our commitment to quality are part of a story we keep building.
A story of family, discipline and conviction that gave rise to what is today Industria Lojana de Especerías ILE C.A.
